This resource for teachers presents a new innovative method of teaching and learning inspired by opera and the adventures of the Academy of Barmy Composers where Any Body Can.
Our cross-curricular scheme of work offers a creative way to develop your students children’s knowledge, skills and understanding while motivating them to learn through stimulating, interconnected topics. A study which crosses subject boundaries allows for investigations that engage children’s imagination and from the first lesson our adventures will inspire creativity and endless possibilities for further learning.
Packed with substantive material to provide a minimum of one hour of learning per week the ABC is suitable for students in years 3-6 with learning in literacy, geography, history, communication methods, languages, science and of course music! All musical resources are included in the pack with links for a wider range of cross curricular opportunities and teacher notes unpacking some tasks and further suggested learning.
